This page says what personal data corvon.tech collects, why, who else handles it, and how to ask us for a copy or for deletion. It covers this website and the checkout at shop.corvon.tech.

Who we are

The company responsible for the data described here (the controller) is:

Shenzhen Feikong Technology Co., Ltd.
B309 Donglian Building · 268 Chuangye 2nd Road
Xin’an, Bao’an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China

CORVON is our brand. For anything on this page, write to tech@corvon.tech.

What we collect, and why

When you request a quote. The form on our contact page asks for your name, email address, company, your role, the products you are interested in, an indicative quantity range, and whatever you write in the message field. We use it to answer you and to quote. It reaches us as an email; we do not put it in a database or a CRM.

When you place an order. Checkout runs on Shopify at shop.corvon.tech, which collects the name, address and contact details needed to bill and ship, and handles payment. We receive the order and what we need to fulfil it. We never receive your full card number.

Automatically, while you browse. Three things:

  • If you submit the quote form, your IP address is kept in the server’s memory so the form cannot be sent over and over from one address. It is never written to disk, never stored alongside your enquiry, and it goes when that server process is recycled.
  • Aggregate page-view statistics, so we know which pages are read. We do not use these to build a profile of you.
  • How you first reached the site: the referring link or campaign parameters in the URL, the page you landed on, and the time. This is kept in your own browser until you put something in the basket, at which point it is sent to Shopify and attached to that basket, so we can tell which channel brought you. That happens whether or not you go on to order. See below.

Cookies and browser storage

corvon.tech itself sets no cookies, and carries no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. What it does store on your device:

Three values in local storage. The first records how you first arrived, as described above. The second notes which basket that record was already sent with, so it is not sent twice. Those two stay until you clear them. The third is the identifier of a basket you started, so it survives a page reload; once that basket becomes an order, it is cleared the next time you open the site. You can clear any of them yourself at any time through your browser’s site-data settings.

Shopify sets its own cookies once you reach checkout, under its own privacy terms.

Who else handles it

These service providers handle personal data for us. None of them may use it for their own purposes:

  • Vercel hosts this website and serves its pages.
  • Resend delivers the quote-request email to our inbox.
  • Alibaba Cloud Mail hosts that inbox, so your quote request sits with them once it arrives.
  • Shopify runs the store and the checkout, including payment.
  • DHL and FedEx carry orders, and receive the name, address and contact number needed to deliver and to clear customs.

We do not sell personal data. Nothing you send us through this site is used to advertise to you, and nothing on corvon.tech tracks you across other websites.

Checkout is separate. It runs on Shopify’s platform, which has its own privacy policy and its own advertising features, and that policy governs what happens there. Read it at shop.corvon.tech.

Where your data goes

We are a Chinese company and our team reads this correspondence in Shenzhen, so anything you send us is transferred to and accessed from China. Our email is hosted in China as well, so a quote request is stored there from the moment it arrives. Vercel, Resend and Shopify process data outside China, including in the United States, and the carriers handle delivery data in the countries an order passes through. China has no adequacy decision from the European Commission. If you are in the EU, the UK or another region with transfer rules, weigh that before sending us anything you would not want processed there.

How long we keep it

We keep business correspondence for as long as the business relationship, or a realistic prospect of one, continues, and afterwards for the periods required by applicable accounting, tax and legal-claim rules.

You can ask us to delete correspondence that is not subject to those obligations, and we will.

Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to your data protection authority.

Write to tech@corvon.tech, say what you are asking for, and give us enough detail to find your correspondence. Our own team handles these and will reply within one month.
